While most things return to normal quite a few companies find wfh beneficial and continue the practice Since I’ve been working from home, my wardrobe has shifted to be more comfortable and stylish. I’ve found that taking a few minutes each day to get dressed up makes me feel more put together and helps me to be more productive. Here are a few of my favorite work from home looks.
1. The ‘no makeup’ makeup look
There’s nothing I love more than a good ‘no makeup’ makeup look. It’s the perfect way to look polished without looking like you’re trying too hard. I start with a tinted moisturizer or BB cream to even out my skin tone and add a little bit of coverage. Then, I add a touch of concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes. To add a bit of color, I use a cream blush on my cheeks and lips. For my eyes, I just curl my lashes and add a coat of mascara. And that’s it! This look takes me less than 5 minutes to do, but it makes such a difference in how I feel throughout the day.
2. The casual chic look
This is my go-to look for days when I need to be comfortable, but still want to look put together. Jeans are always a good choice for comfort, but I like to dress them up with a nicer top or sweater. A button-down shirt is always classic, but you can also try something like a silky camisole or cashmere turtleneck. To make the outfit more interesting and stylish, add some statement jewelry or an interesting scarf. And don’t forget the shoes! Heels are not necessary (and can actually be painful after sitting at a desk all day), but something like ankle boots or ballet flats will make the outfit look more pulled together.
3 .The athleisure look
Athleisure is one of my favorite trends because it allows you to be comfortable without sacrificing style. There are so many cute athleisure options out there that it’s easy to find something that you love AND that looks good on you. My favorite athleisure looks usually incorporate leggings (of course) and some type of sporty top or hoodie. Sneakers are always the best choice for footwear, but you can also try slides or sandals if you want something that’s easier to slip on and off throughout the day. And don’t forget the accessories! A baseball cap or headband can help keep your hair out of your face while you’re working, and they also add an extra touch of style.”
