Having graced the runways of Victoria’s Secret, Balmain, Chanel, and countless other high-fashion brands, Liu Wen is no stranger to looking good. In fact, she’s pretty much a professional at it. And we were lucky enough to get her to share a few of her top model secrets with us!
1. Get your zzz’s
This may sound like a no-brainer, but getting enough sleep is crucial for Liu Wen. “I always make sure to get at least eight hours of sleep every night so that I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day,” she says.
2. Don’t forget the sunscreen!
Since she spends so much time outdoors, Liu Wen never leaves home without applying sunscreen — even if it’s just for a quick errand. “I use a lot of sunscreen when I’m working because I don’t want my skin to get damaged from all the sun exposure,” she says. “But even when I’m not working, I always make sure to put on some SPF before leaving the house.”3. Find a good skincare routine and stick to it
Having good skin is important to Liu Wen, both for work and for her own peace of mind. “I feel more confident when my skin is looking its best, so I make sure to take care of it by using some great skincare products,” she says.
She recommends using gentle cleansers and avoiding harsh scrubs — “they can do more harm than good!” — as well as incorporating a hydrating serum or face oil into your routine. For an extra boost of radiance, she loves using sheet masks 2-3 times per week.4. Keep your diet clean… but don’t forget to treat yourself!
Liu Wen eats pretty cleanly most of the time — lots of fruits and vegetables, lean protein, healthy fats — but she also doesn’t deprive herself of the foods she loves. “I think it’s important to have a balanced diet where you allow yourself some cheat meals here and there — otherwise you might go crazy! ,she says with a laugh..5 Fill up on H2OOne thing Liu Wen never skips?
