Skin Condition Beauty Fixes

Do you have constant redness and flushing? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then you may be one of the millions of Americans who suffer from this chronic skin condition.
Although there is no cure for rosacea, there are a number of treatments that can help lessen the symptoms. If you’re looking for ways to minimize the appearance of your rosacea, here are some beauty fixes that can help.
1. Use a green-tinted primer or color corrector.
If you have rosacea, chances are that you’re all too familiar with redness and inflammation. To help combat this, reach for a green-tinted primer or color corrector before applying your foundation. These products work to neutralize redness, giving you a more even-toned complexion.
2. Use a light-coverage foundation.
When it comes to foundation, it’s important to choose one that’s lightweight and buildable. A heavy foundation will only serve to accentuate any redness or inflammation associated with rosacea. Instead, opt for a light-coverage foundation that will help even out your skin tone without feeling heavy or cakey on your skin.

3. Reach for concealer as needed.
In addition to using a color corrector or green-tinted primer, you may also want to keep concealer on hand to help cover up any areas of redness as needed. When choosing a concealer, look for one that’s creamy and easy to blend into the skin. Apply it only to areas where you need it most and be sure to blend it out well so that there’s no line of demarcation between where the concealer ends and your natural skin tone begins.
4. Set your makeup with powder.
Once you’ve applied your foundation and concealer, set your makeup with powder to help keep everything in place throughout the day (or night). This will also help minimize any shine associated with rosacea flare-ups. If you have particularly dry skin, however, you may want to skip the powder altogether as it can further accentuate dryness and flakiness.’)
