Beauty Secrets I Learned From Jordana Brewster

People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, that person is her younger sister, Isabella.

The two could easily pass as twins (they’re only 15 months apart), but as anyone who’s ever had a sibling knows, there are always subtle differences. And in the case of Jordana and Isabella, those differences happen to be in the beauty department.

We caught up with Jordana to chat about her beauty routine, her thoughts on aging gracefully, and the one product she’s sworn by since she was a teenager.

1. She’s all about that base

Jordana is adamant about taking care of her skin, and it shows. “I really believe in a good skincare routine,” she says. “It makes such a difference in how your makeup looks.” And while she loves trying new products (she’s currently obsessed with Tatcha’s Water Cream), there’s one product she’s been using for years: La Mer’s The Moisturizing Soft Cream. “I started using it when I was 18, and I haven’t stopped,” she says. “It just makes my skin feel so good.”

2. She takes her time with makeup

Jordana may have mastered the art of the no-makeup makeup look, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t enjoy playing around with different products and looks when she has the time. “I love experimenting with makeup,” she says. “I’m always trying new things.” One of her current favorite products is Nars’ Radiant Creamy Concealer, which she uses to brighten up under her eyes. “It’s just so easy to use and it really does make a difference,” she says.

3. She swears by sunscreen

As someone who grew up in Texas, Jordana knows a thing or two about the importance of sunscreen. “I never go outside without sunscreen,” she says. “My mom was really strict about it when we were kids, and I’m so glad she was.” Her current favorite is La Roche-Posay’s Anthelios 60 Melt-In Sunscreen Milk, which she says is “lightweight and non-greasy.” And since it’s water-resistant, it’s perfect for days spent at the beach or poolside.
