Way back in hen in the 2000s, we had the rise of the WAGs and everyone wanted to be super tanned and have big boobs. Then in 2010s, t’was all about being a cool girl. But now the swag has changed.
I like to think that I am the cool girl of a bygone generation. I don’t mean that in a conceited way, I just mean that I like to dress casually and don’t really wear much makeup. That’s not to say that I don’t care about my appearance, I just prefer a more natural look.
My beauty routine is pretty simple. I wash my face with Cetaphil cleanser and then moisturize with Kiehl’s Daily Revitalizing Concentrate. In the morning, I just put on some sunscreen and BB cream and I’m good to go. At night, I might use a little bit of concealer if I have any blemishes, but other than that I pretty much just let my skin breathe.
I think part of the reason why I like to keep my beauty routine simple is because I have sensitive skin. Makeup can sometimes irritate my skin, so it’s just easier for me to not wear any. Plus, like I said before, I’m all about that cool girl aesthetic and less is definitely more when it comes to makeup.
