Yves Saint Laurent: Sep 11, 2023 – Dec 20 , 2023 – This exhibition, organized with the full cooperation of the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris, marks the first retrospective of the designer’s works ever to be staged in Japan. Throughout his 40-year career, Yves Saint Laurent consistently devised styles with universal appeal while taking inspiration from a diverse range of cultural and historical influences. Consisting of Introduction and eleven sections, the exhibition presents a comprehensive overview of Yves Saint Laurent’s work, from his debut at Dior and the first collection that appeared under his own brand to the establishment of his own style, through 110 of the designer’s looks as well as accessories, drawings, and photographs. V&A South Kensington will celebrate the power and creativity of iconic performers in a show called DIVA. Diva will explore and redefine ‘the role of diva’ and how it has been subverted or embraced over time across opera, stage, popular music, and film.

The Gabrielle Chanel: Fashion Manifesto will be the first UK exhibition dedicated to the work of French couturière, Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel while a new display Re:Imagining Musicalswill showcase previously unseen items from the museum’s extensive Theatre and Performance collections.

the Met Gala : May 1 2023: The Met Gala is always one of the biggest nights in fashion – and this year’s theme honors designer Karl Lagerfeld. Known for his role as creative director of Chanel in addition to his work at Chloé and his eponymous brand, Lagerfeld was one of the most influential figures in fashion. Vogue unveiled the 2023 Met Gala theme on September 30, 2022, with a special announcement by Pharrell Williams, one of Chanel’s well-known ambassadors and collaborators.
