So when we had the chance to sit down with Jourdan and pick her brain about all things beauty, we jumped at the opportunity.
Here, Jourdan Dunn shares her best tips for achieving clear skin, voluminous hair, and a killer complexion—no matter what the occasion.
1. Start with a clean slate.
Before you do anything else, you need to make sure your skin is clean and free of any makeup or impurities. Jourdan swears by the Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water ($11) for removing all traces of dirt and makeup—even waterproof mascara!
2. Don’t forget your sunscreen.
Jourdan is diligent about applying sunscreen every day, regardless of whether she’s planning on spending time outdoors or not. “I never leave the house without sunscreen,” she says. “It’s so important to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays.” Her current favorite is the La Roche-Posay Anthelios AOX Daily Antioxidant Face Serum with Sunscreen ($42).
3. Get your glow on.
Jourdan loves to use highlighter to give her skin a natural-looking glow. “I like to apply it on the tops of my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose, and on my Cupid’s bow,” she says. Her current go-to is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Moonstone ($38).
4. Keep your lips hydrated.
Jourdan is a big fan of lip balm, and she always keeps one in her purse for touch-ups throughout the day. “My lips are really sensitive, so I have to be careful about what products I use on them,” she says. “I like to use a lip balm with SPF to protect my lips from the sun.” Her current favorite is the Nuxe Rêve de Miel Lip Balm ($19).
5. Invest in a good eye cream.
Jourdan says she’s been using eye cream since she was a teenager, and it’s one of her must-have beauty products. “It’s so important to keep the delicate skin around your eyes hydrated and protected,” she says. Her current favorite is the Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado ($41.84).
