“There’s no question that looking good is important,” Bobbi says. “But I think it’s even more important to feel good about who you are. And that starts with accepting and celebrating yourself, just as you are.”
So how do you do that? Bobbi has a few suggestions:
1. Get to know yourself. This may sound obvious, but it’s worth taking a little time to really think about who you are and what makes you unique. What do you love about yourself? What are your strengths? What makes you happy? When you know the answers to these questions, it’ll be easier to project confidence – no matter what you’re wearing.
2. Be true to yourself. Once you know who you are, it’s important to stay true to that person – even when it comes to your fashion choices. If you’re not comfortable in heels, don’t force yourself into them just because they’re trendy. If bright colors make you feel happy, don’t be afraid to experiment with them – no matter what anyone else says. The most important thing is that YOU feel good in what YOU’RE wearing.
3. Dress for success… but don’t take yourself too seriously. Your clothes should reflect your personality and make you feel confident – but that doesn’t mean they have to be expensive or super-trendy. Find a style that works for YOU and stick with it. And don’t forget: having fun with fashion is part of the fun! So experiment, mix things up, and above all, enjoy the process of creating your own unique look.
