“I started my blog as a way to show that you can be beautiful without wearing any makeup,” Mel says. “There’s this pressure to always look perfect, and I wanted to show that you can be beautiful without caking on the makeup.”

“There’s nothing wrong with wearing makeup, but I think it’s important for girls to know that they’re beautiful even without it,” she says.
